Psst. you guys…. I have discovered something wonderous and new with my Cameo! Me still being a newbie I try not test too many things when it comes to my Cameo; 1-because I am still slightly new at using it, 2-I am TERRIFIED I will break it and 3-refer to 1 & 2!
Time to use my Cameo for something new:
I have mainly used my Cameo for cut projects like tags, stencils, party wands and such. It wasn’t until my aunt asked my to create flyers for her husbands celebration of life gathering, that, I decided to venture away from hand creating a flyer to sketching one.
Now anyone who knew Uncle Dick knew how much he loved dragons so naturally, dragons were going on the flyer along with everything my aunt wanted stated on it. I found an amazing dragon on my Silhouette Design Store and snatched it up immediately before it went bye bye.
Check out the video below for a quick tutorial:
The template I am using I pieced together using PicMonkey and Silhouette Design Store. The writing was done in PicMonkey and the dragon in the Design Store. Follow the video for q uicl tutorial.
-Under my “User Designs” I clicked on my dragon template and it pulls it over to the design part of my studio. Make sure your paper setting is set to the size you need under the design tab.
-Click the “Send” tab.
-Once under that tab adjust all your settings. Paper setting:Plain Cardstock. Cut setting:Sketch with sketch pen clicked. Then make sure its set to sketch. I would adjust the speed to 6 or 7.
The finished product:
Your end result is one bad mama jama dragon! Sketched perfectly onto your paper! And it wasn’t super hard right?!
