Spring Has Sprung!
Spring Has Sprung ya’ll! I love Spring but, I also love simple and pretty cards too. And, who wouldn’t enjoy getting such a pretty card!
Spring Has Sprung Supply List:
–Textured Cardstock -Color of choice (2 Different Colors) (I used the 1/2 sheet cardstock for this)
–Spring Inspired Scrapbook Paper
–Smooth Cardstock -For The Inside ( I used the 1/2 sheet as well)
–Fine Tip Sharpie
–Embellishments of choice -Here I used Brads
–Paper Cutter -(I use Fiskars)
–Double Sided Tape
–Exacto Paper Cutter (I Found mine in the craft section at Wal-Mart)
–3D Adhesive Dots
Spring Has Sprung Instructions:
–Fold 1 of your textured cardstocks in half, decide how wide and tall you want your card, trim off excess with paper cutter.
–Cutter down your 2nd textured cardstock to fit in the middle of your card (on the front, like pictured above).
–With your 2nd cardstock laid on top put a slit through the top 2 layers and insert your brad. The brads will keep the top piece in place. Be careful not to cut through to the back of the card….or your hand! Do not put a brad in the center as this is where your flower goes.
–Now, take your Spring inspired paper and lightly trace out your flower design. Cut it out with scissors. Once cut out take you fine tip sharpie and add a little design around the edges. Stick a brad in the middle of your flower. Place a 3D Adhesive Dot on the back of your flower and stick your flower to the center of your card.
–Take your smooth cardstock paper fold it in half and trim with your paper cutter to make it smaller to fit the inside of your card. Once this has been done, turn it over and line the edges with double sided tape and stick it to the inside of your card.
–Lastly, I take my fine tip sharpie and make a fun design around the edges of the card on the front. Got that done? Now take whatever color of eye shadow you’d like, rub your finger in it and rub your finger along your design.
Guess What…Your Done!
